T3 Wk9 FRIDAY Maths

 

In my honest opinion, I thought that this maths was a pretty good warmup for myself.

It gets my brain going early in the morning and helps me get through the day as a 

successful learner.

Posting maths from a few weeks ago. I liked doing this maths because it is a good way to 

warm-up "my brain" in the morning, just to get myself stimulated and active for the rest of the day.

I didn't really enjoy this maths warm-up because I prefer more challenging equations and maybe something a little more up to my level...

Should CELLPHONES be allowed at school? (persuasive topic)

This is a piece of writing I wrote awhile ago persuading others if phones should be allowed at school or not.

My class was learning about how we can earn money in different ways for us to be a little more successful than each of us currently are. We can learn to do this by working for others or for yourself personally. I believe that being able to have a skill like this is really important if we ever get a job in the future. I would like to be learning more about what different job postitions get paid and how we could be able to know if we are being paid the right income or not. Thanks again for checking out my blog. Weekly quiz week

Our principal Mr. Sadlier, sends each one of the teachers a weekly quiz for their students to do. This week our classroom (Rm.1) did one of these quizzes. I really enjoy researching the answers very much but making textboxes and have to rewrite the answers in my own words really isn't my thing. Next time I need to try harder and make more of an effort to present my slide better than last time and I will try and achieve that G.O.A.L by making sure I practice doing that on other pieces of learning before of next Weekly Quiz. These are the maths problem solving slides I made forour classes maths time. I literally love doing math. I go to Otago problem solving for more comlicated math but this math is from my normal classes with my teacher Mr.J-L. I found it easy to find a background for the three slides. In my opinion it was hard to make my own maths problem. I enjoyed to do this math near my friends and help them with theirs. Thank you for checking out my blog!!!!

REACH Respect

A few weeks ago my classmates and I were making a slide or a few slides about the R (for RESPECT) in our REACH moto. I was really excited about the whole thing because I thought of putting loads (literally loads😅) of qoutes on my slide. I also made my slide portrait. I found it easy to find quotes because I could easily find some on Google. I thought that it was CHALLENGING to find an aesthetic background. I enjoyed to do this while helping my friends with theirs. Thanks for looking at the learning on my blog!😶‍🌫️🌞

REACH Attitude Comic

During the afternoon at school, RM 1 (my class) was making a REACH Attitude comic. I was really excited to begin this fun piece of learning because I enjoy doing this kind of thing most times. In my opinion, I thought it was easy to find a background for my slide. I found it a bit more CHALLENGING to find pictures and make up quotes about this specific topic. I enjoyed using idols of mine for this piece of learning. Next time, I need to make my comic more of an interesting piece of learning. Thx again for checking out my blog!!😁

Maths problem solving T2 Wk3

Our class (room 1) was doing maths problem solving again. I love this time of the day more than anything (other than sports) because it is my favorite subject. I found it easy finding cool backgrounds for my slides. I thought it was harder to solve the actual problems. Personally, I found it enjoyable to make my own problem for my friends to solve. Doing maths everyday is the best! I love to problem slove in groups and learn how to do different things in maths. I think that it is important for kids to learn how to do this at an early age! I found it easy to solve the maths problems on my own. I thought that it was a little challenging to come up with my own story problem at the end. I ended up being able to do it because I made a problem about something I actually liked. I enjoyed doing maths in a quiet space sitting near my friends because I think that it is comforting and that it helps me bedome a better learner. Thanks for checking out my blog!🙃

Maths problem solving

Everyday, all of the students from my class do maths prblemsolving. Most of us love this time of the day and look forward to it alot. I love maths so I like to work on that subject. I found it easy to fins backgrounds for the maths questions. In my opinion I think that it was kind of hard to figure out the problems. I enjoyed working together with my friends on this maths project. Next time, I need to work on figuring out the prblems faster on the computer and more efficiently. Thanks for viewing my blog!

Logo Art

RM 1 (my class) was making a piece of art about logos that we like! I found it easy to think of logos for the slide we made our art on. I thought that it was hard to find cool logos for the slide. I enjoyed doing this because I leanrt more about my friends by looking at their logo art.

Animal Report Writing

Our class was doing an animal report for writing. We had to choose an animal to write down facts on a ggogle slide about our animal. I found it easy to gather info about my chosen animal. I found it hard to choose an animal because I like so many animals it's hard to choose just one. Next time, I need to add more facts to my writing and find cooler pictures.

All About Me

 

In term 1 on the first week of school, my classroom (rm 1) had to make a piece of writing about ourselves. I found it easy to find pictures and put them on my page of writing. Maths Problems

 

 

 My class (rm 1) does maths every morning either on a device or in our

 books.

 We ended up doing maths on a device. 

Our teacher (Mr.J-L) made three slides for us to complete independently. 

 I found it easy to find the slides in my drive and to understand the problems easily. 

 I found it harder to make up my own problem because it takes a while to

 think of something and try not to make it to hard or too easy!

 Next time, I need to make my problems more easy to understand by 

making it less of a story and more of an actual problem!

Killer Whales

 

Today, my class had to do a reading assignment on killer whales/orcas. We had to read an article about them. I found it easy to look back at the answers and copy them in my own words. I thought that it was a bit harder to think of more descriptive words to explain my thinking that relates to the test. Next time I need to take my time and produce quality learning and try not to rush anything.

Maths prototec

Almost everyday our class does something called maths prototec. I usually do stage 7 or 8. For me I like to do stage seven because I find it easier to do. Most times I Get converting fractions into percentages wrong. I also find doing the factors of numbers hard because I only know some of the factors for each of the numbers. I find it easy to do the division and multiplication. Next time, I need to do the problems faster and between a certain length of time.

MATHS Rm 1 yr 6

This morning my classroom did maths problems to get ourselves stimulated for the day. Rm 1 had to solve two easy problems and two of the harder problems our teacher created on slides for us to "decode." I found it easy to find cool backgrounds for  maths to make more appealing and representable to post onto my blog. I found it hard to solve the problems on a device because usually I do algarithmns and it is harder to set it up properly on a device so, I used a different approach to the questions. Next time, I will try and use more efficient ways to work out the problems. 👾 Thanks for checking out my blog! 👾

< Today, my classmates and I were filling in an ALL ABOUT ME sheets on google docs. We had to fill in what sort of sports we like, where we are from, etc. I found it easy to make the textboxes and find pictures of the place that I am from. I found it harder to pick between alot of thing that I like. Next time I really need to add more color to my slide and make sure that the writing stands out more! I also can't wait to check out my classrooms cool slides!
